
Fattoush salad is very popular in middle eastern countries. This salad makes with variety of vegetables and croutons. The test of this salad is very unique because of croutons, garlic and apple cider vinegar. And there are so many types of fattoush salad is available but common things is croutons. Every fattoush salad has croutons.
Ingredients of Fattoush Salad
CROUTON MAKING
- 10 grams FLOUR
- 15 milliliters WATER
- 1 ARABIC BREAD HALVE
- 500 milliliters FRYING OIL
FATTOUSH SALAD MAKING
- 30 grams ROMAN LETTUCE CHUNK
- 15 grams WATER CRUSH LEAVES
- 5 grams ZATTER LEAVES
- 5 grams MINT LEAVES
- 10 grams WHITE ONION SLICED
- 15 milliliters APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
- 15 milliliters OLIVE OIL
- 15 milliliters LEMON JUICE
- 2 grams MINCED GARLIC
- 100 grams SLICED TOMATO TRIANGLES
- 100 grams SLICED CUCUMBER (HALF MOON)
- 10 grams SLICED RED RADISH (HALF MOON)
- 3 grams SALT
GARNISHING
- 2 grams SUMAC POWDER
- 30 grams CROUTON
- 10 grams POMOGRANATE SEEDS
- 10 grams POMEGRANATE MOLASSES
PREPARATION
MAKING CROUTON
HOW TO MAKE CROUTON
Take flour into a mixing bowl and put water. Now whisking theme and make a creamy batter.Now spilt the bread into 2pcs . Place the bread on a clean surface make sure smooth side is up now apply the batter on edge of bread and roll it tightly.And cut with knife into thin pieces. Now keep for 1 hours for rest.Take a pan put oil and make it hot. Now put all bread pieces into the hot oil and fry until golden colour. When it’s become golden remove them from the oil and keep for cooling down.
SALAD PREPARE
MIXING THE SALAD
Now put cucumber,tomato, onion slice, red radish, zatter leaves, water crushed, mint leaves, sumac powder, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and apple cider vinegar in a mixing bowl. Mixed them gently.
GARNISHING
- Garnish with croutons, pomegranate seeds and pomegranate molasses on top.
